Be part of a larger, stronger voice on issues and legislation that affect the hospitality industry in the Bluegrass.  BHA continually monitors important local hospitality legislation and strives to be heard on relevant issues.

The BHA Legislative Committee is in need of members!  The committee’s role is to engage with the legislators, attend legislative events, monitor proposed legislation and provide updates to the membership.  Our first event will be February 8, 2018 at the Capital Annex where BHA will partner with the Kentucky Tourism Industry Association by sponsoring fried pies at a luncheon.  The fried pies have become a favorite of the legislators!  If you’re interested in joining the BHA Legislative Committee, please contact Joe Kousman.
